The Art of Skim Coat Plaster

 When a surface of a wall or ceiling is rough, damaged or just plain ugly, one option is to tear it out and install new drywall.

Another is to resurface with joint compound, creating a smooth surface where once its ready, it can then be primed and painted.

I have been doing this technique for over 20 years now.
